hello!

my friends and i have been talking a lot about the good ol' comment ficathon recently, so i just want to bring back the fun! there is no specific deadline for this and everyone is welcome to prompt and fill up a prompt. this is not a challenge or competition so everyone please feel free to join and write without pressure!!

this mini comment ficathon is open for prompts and fills indefinitely, so don't worry about being late to the party!

HELP this was my prompt i'm so happy to see it filled this way by you, risa T___T it's funny bc every time i think of pledis chinaline i always think about the potential dynamic 8 and kyulkyung could have just because of their perceived personalities and how they might clash and i really enjoyed the way you wrote them like this!! tbh i like any permutation of pledis chinaline but love this one in canonverse bc it's such a staunch and interesting depiction of history shared between people who were drawn to each other due to circumstances only they could understand, and are still held together by something a lot stronger/harder to let go of even when any feelings get a little complicated... also this fic's ship is the8/kyulkyung but the way you managed to weave mentions of jun in together with the supposed birthday reunion prompt was done so well and made the dialogue and any accompanying feelings have so much more weight eg. Minghao thought that was the end of that until Jieqiong called him again, long distance though, this time. “I’m in Shanghai, did you know?” The pang of jealousy hit him like a mallet against a metal gong. / “We were both going to bake him cakes,” Minghao said slowly. “Your idea in exchange for my help.” / “We’re friends, you know?” Minghao couldn’t tell if she was talking about him or Junhui. you did so good in drawing their personalities out this way. also screams at mingyu's 23 billion won in assets and shouting at mh over the phone dsjfsjf how are u so good at making me want more of this >< aaaah thank you so much for writing this! <3 i hope you're having a good holiday season!
